Wine Critic review: "Whiffs of smoke, burnt sugar and lemon introduce this racy semisweet Riesling. The palate suggests a juicy lemonade sweetness that's balanced neatly by fresh acidity. An easygoing but refreshing wine to enjoy now–2021. ANNA LEE C. IIJIMA" https://www.winemag.com/buying-guide/dr-hans-vonmuller-2017-kabinett-riesling-mosel/
Wine Folly: pg.158 general Riesling- The book lists lime, green apple, beeswax, jasmine, and petroleum as aromas for riesling. Wine Folly says that the sweetness of riesling ranging from very dry to very sweet. This wine was more of a semi-sweet wine.
My Review: I thought this wine was a good medium bodied wine. It was also semi-sweet with plenty acidity. I got lots of apple and citrus flavors in this wine along with hints of honey. I would love to try this wine with some kind of spicy fish or pork dish. I recommend this wine to newer wine drinkers who are not used to dry wines yet.
