Wine Critic review: "Pale straw color. Aromas and flavors of lime flesh, lime leaf, and cashew with a silky, crisp, dry-yet-fruity light body and a silky, brisk finish that shows notes of white peach with no oak flavor. A crisp, mineral-driven Pinot Grigio with an elevated style." https://www.tastings.com/Wine-Review/Biltmore-Estate-2020-Pinot-Grigio-American-USA-04-04-2022.aspx
Wine Folly: pg.149 general Pinot Gris- The aromas listed in Wine Folly are white peach, lemon zest, cantaloupe, raw almond, and crushed gravel. Wine Folly lists that Pinot Gris can range from dry to pretty sweet. This wine was definitely on the dryer side.
My Review: The Biltmore Estate is very impressive and this wine reflects its beauty! It is pretty dry but is still fruity. I got lots of peach and citrus-y flavors. This Pinot Grigio was very refreshing and would be best enjoyed on a hot summer day. I would recommend this wine to a new wine drinker that is trying to get away from purely sweet wines.
